The New Girl

I love the colours, shapes and textures of fruits and vegetables.

This was one of a series of paintings featuring fruits and vegetable in various situations. When I first saw the flower of the zucchini, I knew it would be fun to feature it in a painting. Here, I hope I have shown the tentativeness on both sides of a new encounter.
